There has been an ongoing debate on the value of “2 Phase” treatment in Orthodontics. This lecture will present a reasoned approach to “Early Comprehensive Orthodontic Treatment” using mechanics that are simple, efficient, effective and provide outstanding clinical results. The Nitanium Palatal Expander is a key component of this esthetically based treatment planning approach.
Dr. Brown has been in private practice of Orthodontics for 37 years, after receiving his specialty certification in 1978 from the University of Toronto. He is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Alberta, and guest lecturer with University of Manitoba, and University of the Pacific. Dr. Brown also lectures internationally on Passive Self Ligation, and was instrumental in the development of the Ortho Essentials Oral Hygiene Control program for Crest Oral B.
